About

Mary Horton

I am a Supervising and Training Analyst of the Society of Analytical Psychology. I practice both in person and online.

I offer in-depth analysis and psychotherapy. I also offer open-ended psychodynamic counselling as well as solution-focused brief therapy. I have worked for many years in private practice and have worked as well in the voluntary sector and in NHS primary care.

I value analysis, psychotherapy and counselling for the self-understanding that it can enable. With the information this provides we are more able to make concious choices about what we want for ourselves. Facing limitations and mourning what we cant't have is painful but it opens us up to living in the present. It frees us to enjoy and celebrate what we do have and can achieve.
